winter storm warning in effect A spring storm will bring freezing rain and heavy snow to western parts of the Mackenzie Delta today and tonight. Freezing rain or wet snow has begin and will change to snow later today. Total snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm are expected before the snow tapers off Saturday morning. Snowfall amounts will be lower near Tsiigehtchic where rain or freezing rain is likely during the day today. Surfaces such as roads and walkways may become icy and slippery. ### Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations.
